Welcome to LightningTalks from Loveland, Ohio, USA. "One
Strike & You're Out" often describes a persons experience with
lightning. Under-education of the public about lightning safety and
under-reporting of lightning causalities contribute to an ever increasing
safety issue. Lightning safety & protection continue as an important topic
in society where more and more outdoor activities occur. Please read,
understand and follow the lightning safety guidelines.
Good information is available on the web regarding lightning
safety,
however, finding it when we need it can be a challenge. My
intent is to help organize the retrieval of good information. The site is not intended as a stand-alone-site on
lightning safety. Questions encouraged
& welcome.
Drop me a note
here. Thanks.... Lee
They wish to make "When Thunder Roars Go
Indoors and Stay There 30 Minutes" as much ingrained in our youth as
"Stop, Drop and Roll" is for fire safety.
